Luigi's Mansion 3 for the Nintendo Switch

Luigi's Mansion 3 was released on October 31st, 2019 for the Nintendo Switch. Made from teamwork between Nintendo and Next Level Games, This is the 3rd installment of the famous scared younger brother of Mario as well as the 2nd installment with the teamwork of Next Level Games.

FUN: Just like the other 2 games, Luigi is here to ghost bust or to exact ghost suck his way around this time a huge hotel. It's the same old things as the other two games where you progress through the story while collecting Boos, Ghosts, and Cash. If you liked the other two games, you will like this one. FUN - 1.5.

REPLAY: After you beat the story, the save file leaves you at the area right before the final boss. Unless you missed anything, didn't get top rank at the end of the game (which is A Rank), or wish to play online multiplayer with your friends, this game doesn't have much replay ability if you 100% the game. The somewhat good news is that new multiplayer DLC just came out and we are expecting more coming soon. REPLAY - 1.

STORY: Luigi, Peach, Mario, & 3 Toads (Yellow, Blue, & Red) all were invited by the Hotel Owner to stay free as charge. Right after they were shown to their rooms and Luigi fell asleep, Luigi awoke to screams from Peach and Mario. When he went to investigate, he finds out King Boo escaped for a 3rd time from Professor E. Gadd's lab. After Luigi dropped down a laundry shoot to escape being captured by King Boo wanting revenge on him, he finds the Professors car with a newer model of his trusty vacuum, The Poltergeist G-00. Now he is off to figure out what is going on and to rescue his brother and friends again. STORY - 2.

DIFFERENCE/ORIGINALITY: Not much changed or is new in this 3rd installment. Just like the 1st two games, Luigi has to rescue his brother Mario and his friends from King Boo. Another thing which is the same is that you collect Boos and Gems just like in the 2nd game Dark Moon (the 1st game had 50 Boos and was part of the game while Dark Moon and this game they are optional). The only true difference is the Hotel itself. each floor has unique themes to them as well as a unique boss ghost for each one. Of course the major joke original thing here is that the title is Luigi's Mansion but we are in a Hotel. DIFFERENCE/ORIGINALITY - 0.5.

GAMEPLAY: The gameplay is very well balanced. Controls don't mess you up. If they do it's very rarely and usually the aiming of shooting things from the vacuum. However, the aiming target helps guide you when its having issues. If you are good with these types of games the game will become casual while new players will have a perfect amount of challenge without it being rage inducing. GAMEPLAY - 2.

TOTAL - 7/10.
